BP Custom SS Commander Length Springfield 9mm

  This pistol began life as a standard Springfield Armory PI9134LP 5-Inch Target Model that has been fully customized to create a handsome, reliable, durable, accurate and more compact pistol.  To begin, the slide has been cut back to a shorter, commander length and fitted with a top quality Bar-Sto match bull barrel.  A custom reverse plug, full-length guide rod and flat wire recoil spring work internally to accommodate the revised length and to provide optimum reliability and long service life. Most all of the oem components have been replaced with only the highest quality, name brand custom components that have been meticulously hand fit and tuned for unmatched performance.  A heavy duty Harrison rear sight, a flattened and serrated slide and the bright EGW fiber optic front sight work together to establish quick target acquisition.  The Hi-Power slide scallops, bobtail configuration, flush cut slide stop and full softening treatment improve the overall snag resistance of the weapon for daily carry and absolute comfort.  Improved levers, 25lpi checkering front and rear, and the high-swept beavertail grip safety combine to establish manageable control of an already low-recoiling weapon.
